It's a magic ring, if he takes it off he suddenly stops loving his wife and has irresistible urges to go to a Thai massage parlor

What the hell does lovin your wife have to do with wearing it in a gatdamn football game? :stopitslime:

The point of a wedding ring is such that a person is supposed wear it to honor their vows, regardless of what happens. Some players choose be ostentatious with chains and tattoos; other choose to wear more inconspicuous trinkets like wedding rings. Why is any old chain less deserving of censure than a wedding ring?

And what the hell does his iq have to do with him wearing a wedding ring in a game? Should he wear the watch his wife bought him for xmas too :heh:

Fitzpatrick knows there's nothing more or less wrong with wearing his wedding ring to a game. At least it carries real sentimental meaning, unlike the meaningless barrage of tattoos and jewellery we sometimes see players sport.

Answer this, why don't all the other football players that are married wear wedding rings on the field? :beli: Why doesn't Lebron wear a ring during a game?

Your answer sounded real female like breh

Most football players are unabashed tough guys too brainwashed and arrogant to wear their vows to a football game. Leave Fitzpatrick alone.

I'm not doubtin his "love" for his wife. But wearin that shyt during a game is wack/simpish. Why don't married NBA players wear that shyt?
why not ? mlb players near damn wore chains and shyt...

its not like hes more likely to injure someone with it or anything. he can lose it, but I think its up to him :manny: dont really see anything bad about it.

@Ronnie Lott
You're a good poster and I generally agree with your views but answer me this:

Who is more of a man: the one who wears his wedding ring, braving the harsh censure of his peers; or the one that wears nothing sentimental, receiving neither great praise nor great criticism. Basketball players rarely have lasting marriages or partners. Why should anyone look to them as a manual on what players should wear or do? Let Fitz live.

no. poe is undoubtedly a beast, but theyre the ones getting the edge pressure. like Ive said, 85 hurries combined, best in the league by a fukkton, and if you take a pair of OLBs on the same team, it aint close at all
Because Poe draws all that attention in the middle, Hali/Houston get favorable matchups on the edge and the outside gaps. Dude gets double teamed on the regular and even triple teamed at times.

Plus he's played in 90% of the defensive snaps for the season. He's been their most important defensive player.

I have to disagree. poe is a beast like ive said, but without those two, especially houston, kc has no pass rush. poe will get his, but the KC run d is nothing to write home about. poe elevated those guys play, that youre right about, but them playing well is more important to kc's success, if that makes sense.

Not only does Poe impact the pass rush but he's the most instrumental player on that line when it comes to stopping the run too (they'd be past middle of the pack if it wasn't for him). When it comes to stopping the run in tight spots and 3rd/4th downs, KC probably the best in the league. I weigh it as who has the most overall impact on the run/pass.

If he doesn't get pressure and draw in other linemen, Hali/Houston are less effective because they're affected by the domino effect.

I guess this is a point we'll have to agree to disagree.
