If there were ever a time for the Bills to do it, it's now, because of the current AFC playoff field, they are the only ones with a QB that has proven he can go Godmode when the chips are down.
However... the Texans lurk.
In my opinion, the AFC playoffs could put this whole "value of a QB" narrative to bed one way or the other.
QB is still the most important position in football, and you can see it across the league every week.
The Bills are only competitive because of Josh Allen — without him they’re drafting top-10.
The Ravens look “off” because Lamar’s been banged up.
Seahawks are contenders because Darnold is playing like a franchise QB.
Patriots look like they have decent receivers all of a sudden because Maye is playing elite ball.
Minnesota still has a good roster and coaching staff but JJ is a terrorist and has made sure the team sucks.
There are examples all over the place showing why getting QB play is the most critical part of an NFL team.
Texans and Broncos would be juggernauts if they had elite QB play.
