The Kansas City Chiefs are quite thin offensively.

I understand. Mahomes and Rice were out. Minshew gets hurt too.
But this team was borderline to begin with.

I'm not sure what the future looks like here.

Mahomes will have to return from a major injury.
Kelce is already past his prime.
They don't have a franchise RB on this roster.
And outside of Rice (who is a borderline WR1) they don't have much talent at that position, either.

The amount of work it's going to take to rebuild this team to championship contender will probably take so long that I don't envision Andy Reid being around for it.

I have no idea why Andy didn't give up a 3 for Breece Hall. Incredibly short-sighted.

Right.
I mean how can anybody look at the AFC West and think the Chiefs will run that division?

The Broncos and Chargers easily have a better foundation right now.
And while the Raiders are pretty bad, Jeanty and Bowers is a hell of a start to a nucleus. You draft a decent QB and get a #1 WR and they could be off and running. The only shame here is that Maxx Crosby will probably get too old before this team could be competitive.

They got a lot of issues. Need help in the secondary, an edge rusher, some sort of RB that's worth a damn - but they don't really have cap space.

They'll be picking around 12-14 so they should get a nice piece in the 1st round. If Mahomes comes back week 1 and is still Mahomes I think they'll find a way to the playoffs next year but the era of dominance is over now that the Broncos and Chargers have people in charge who know what the fukk they are doing

That’s crazy. It’s starting to look like that Browns jersey with all the QBs’ names. That’s basically a pattern of a team playing not to lose instead of trying to kill you for 60 minutes. IDK what’s happened to my franchise, man, I really don’t.

I figured Coen would be another Jax bust, but he’s doing a COY-worthy job there.

Not sure if the Chiefs are done done or if they're just having a Murphy's Law type season. Either way, their days of running that division wire-to-wire are (likely) over.

If there’s ever a year for Justin Herbert to get off the playoff schneid and move into that T5 conversation, it’s this one.

Caleb and Darnold definitely embodied that #FightOn mentality this week, for sure.

Lions may be as big a dud as the Ravens (Copping to being salty that they couldn’t handle PIT).

i don't care that they won 2 sb after he left but that offense has not been as explosive since Hill left.

also they got unlucky with the oline getting hurt. but i still think pat is great if he can come back from those injuries. medical care is much more advance now so he might be able to.

They had more explosive plays the first year after Reek was traded.

The offense fell off as soon as Andy hired Matt Nagy. They're not serious if they bring him back.
