Not many people will appreciate this postPeople saying that the 49ers have a plug and play system is lazy take and not taking into account the failures of Brian Hoyer, CJ Beathard and Trey Lance. You need certain qualities to succeed in a Shanahan offense, you have to read defenses quickly, you need some level of anticipation and you have to be able to throw the ball consistently in tight windows. Shanahan deserves credit because he took QBs with different skillsets and made them functional. Mac Jones and Brock Purdy have two different skills sets and our WR group outside of Ricky Pearsall are made up of UFDAs and dudes we basically picked up off the street and doing so with the worst running game in the NFL and an aging Trent Williams and an OL made up of 3rd day picks. We have successfully saved the careers of San Darnold and Mac Jones guys who were almost out of the league a couple of days ago.
His defense held Philly to 17 pointsI thought yall said Bo Nix sucks?![]()
Many NFL offensive coaches are stooges and charlatans. It’s why defensive coaches are usually more successful head coaches. Defensive coaches adopt to their talent.
It’s also why Kyle Shanahan, Sean McVey, Andy Reid and of course Sean Payton are the only significant offensive minded coaches of the last 15 years.
None of emWould you include Sirianni? Or what about Jim Harbaugh? Mike McCarthy?
I think it's really gay that we cheer for a bunch of sweaty men wearing tights to tackle each other week in and week out.I think it's really gay people aren't letting Geno Smith have a few bad games with his new team.
Just like the Vikings last year...Colts my AFC dark horse. Daniel look competent there
