Baker Mayfield is a damn good QB. He's had a very interesting career arc. He got a LOT of shyt his first few years in the league. Probably more shyt than any QB I can remember over the past 10-15 years. A good amount was probably deserved, but he's completely turned his career around down in Tampa Bay. Extremely impressive.

When John Dorsey drafted him, he said Baker reminded him of Favre.

Baker's kind of had of Favre like ascent after being cast off. Just a longer journey to becoming respected.

Tired of what? No one is saying the criticism wasn't deserved. However, you don't see many cases like him where a top pick is written off, criticized immensely, is a back-up for a few teams, and then becomes an MVP caliber QB for his current franchise.
