If losing Lamar and Burrow causes an offense to crater as badly as the Bengals and Ravens have those two should be able to handpick their own HC and OC. It's undisputable truth now that those two kept a lot of people employed who should have been fired. The Bills offense doesn't crater if Trubisky takes a game for Allen. We've seen a Chiefs backup do some playoff magic when Pat got hurt. It ain't like there's no offensive talent for the Ravens/Bengals, but the whole team DYING like this speaks to full on shyt ass coaching. The players don't believe in the coaching without Lamar or Burrow there to save them. If they're saving folks jobs either way they should be able to choose their own coaches.

Speaking of shyt coaching, Stefanski + Dillon is going to get someone murdered. I had to stop watching the game. That shyt was making me flinch.

Right on all accounts:

  1. Tomlin made the playoffs with two QB's who are likely to be benched this year. So they can miss me with all of these excuses (especially the Bengals).
  2. Dillon throws WAY too may medicine balls. You can see the WR's start dropping the ball later in the game because they had to take their eyes off the ball (for their own protection).

Why we acting like Burrow's offense was killing shyt to start the season. They only put up 17 week 1 with Burrow only passing for 113 yards in game one. And in a quarter and a half with 3 possessions the Bengals had only put up 85 yards as a team before Burrow got hurt. Their OL sucks. I do agree their coaching is bad, just think it's off to say the offense was looking like a juggernaut THIS year compared to how Lamar had the Ravens looking.

They ALWAYS start slow and then they start cooking. That's been Burrow's MO for a while. That's why I don't mind assuming he'd get rolling like he always has.

Has Burrow ever played a full season?

Man Mahomes has been the best player in the sport since he burst onto the scene lol. We just live in the era of hot take, contrarian opinions. It's all about "content", shyt is draining, He hasn't had truly elite offensive personnel since the Tyreek days if we're being real. Yet every year, regardless of the makeup of the team, you can pencil them in the Superbowl. He is ONLY competing with Brady (and out of respect I'll, acknowledge Montana) at this point in my eyes.
Yeah anybody talking about how he fell of are box score watchers who I can tell aren't watching games. With the lack of weapons Chiefs turned to a complete ball control offense that relied on Mahomes bailing them out on 3rd down over and over and he did just that.

I love how brehs and the media will Julez each week about "whose the best team in the NFL" each week then the darling team takes an L :laff:

It's ridiculous how much people flip flop. I've said it since week one, and I'll continue to say it. The Chiefs are still my Super Bowl favorites, with the Lions and Eagles right there. I had the 49er's up there, but injuries are hurting them.

One week it's the Chargers, then the Broncos, then the Colts, etc.....just like you're saying.

Ravens pretty much have to be in playoff mode now. Hopefully Orr's trajectory is the same as Mike Mac's from a couple years ago and he figures things out over these next few weeks. As long as 8's healthy, there's a chance.

Titans had to make the move they just did. They were going nowhere fast.

Patriots for real? Not sure yet, but promising...didn't expect this at all. Colts definitely are, though. I'm sold.

Had a feeling we weren't done with the Chiefs yet, not by a long shot.

Actually have 2 good games tonight. Honestly have no idea how they'll go.

Somewhere in Illinois
Buccaneers - Baker is honestly playing at an MVP level
Chiefs - Will always be in the mix because of Mahomes
Lions - Can't trust them
Ravens - This might be the end for Harbaugh
Saints - Spencer Rattler has "something"
Colts - Can't judge them until the postseason
Dolphins - Hit the reset button
Titans - There a mess so I can't judge Ward
Browns - What are they doing???
Cowboys - They'll never change until Jerry dies
Panthers - Bryce is getting better
Patriots - Exceeding Expectations (may have found their Franchise QB)

The Patriots are definitely playoff contenders in the AFC. Not saying they are going to the AFCCG or anything like that, but I believe they are a team that no one would want to face.

Drake Maye has looked sensational so far, but we've seen QB's have a great six weeks before and then falter. I don't think that's the case with him as the throws he's making have been incredible. I'm glad he's not taking unnecessary hits and going down and out of bounds when needed. That offense needs to get the running game going, and they could really use a big time WR. Hoping they can get NFL Youngboy or a stud next year. Maybe A.J. Brown forces his way out of Philly if things sour there.

I'm hoping I sense fear from @DrexlersFade after tonight. Hoping the Falcons smack the Bills. The fear and knowing that times in the AFC East may be changing, and order may be on the way to being restored. :wow: . We ALLLLLL know the NFL is better when the Patriots are near or at the top.
