The narrative that Quaterbacks are "ruined" or "failed" by their teams is not really accurate:
1) People said the Benglas would fail Burrow... but he's accurate, can read a defense, and has a good arm, and is decisive with the ball. So that helps Joe Mixon (since the defense has to account for Burrow). And they can get him a wideout like Jamar Chase because Burrow can throw nice passes to him.
I disagree.
The Bengals actually did a damn good job on their rebuild. They drafted some good guys Jonah Williams, Mixon, Sam Hubbard, Higgins, Boyd
Got good guys in FA like Von Bell and Trey Hendrickson, Mike Hilton. So they're doing well in the front office which is why they haven't "failed" yet.
But as if right now he hasn't done shyt Andy Dalton didn't do early on team wise. So its still a time will tell situation.
On the other hand look at other QBs where they go to teams with 0 talent, 0 weapons, horrible culture etc they gotta go through hell fighting all of that.
