Exactly. Stafford problem ain't talent. He made a lot of dumb throws and then stat padded because they were always losing.
Our run defense was alot better this week, right on time too against the defending SB champs. I understand our 'bend, don't break' defensive style, but still... Seeing our opponents make big chunk plays on 3rd-and-forever kills me. I prefer us to be more physical and in your face off the line of scrimmage, but the soft coverage scheme has been working so far, Raheem has been DCing good.
Stafford was shaky at first, bright lights and going against the GOAT had him a little rattled. Big games like these didn't come his way in Detroit. But boy when he settled in.... The price paid to bring him to L.A. suddenly seems like a no brainer.
I told myself if the Rams beat Bucs, we going to the Super Bowl -- only because I assumed they would be the greatest threat down the line.. but not so sure anymore. I want to see how we play against the Cardinals and 49ers in our first division matchups. I also want to see if the Packers can win on the road against the niners. And then you got the Vikings suddenly catching fire.... The path through the NFC probably harder than it's ever been before...
