From what little I saw... Fields never had a chance behind that line. He took more sacks than passes he completed. How the hell David Montgomery only got 12 touches in a game that was a one-possession matter until the fourth quarter when Myles Garrett is force-feeding your rookie first round QB a face full of turf AT WILL is beyond me.

He's also got a GM he has to answer to. If the front office wants him to play, he has to put him in.

Supposedly Myles Garrett told a reporter that they were surprised that the offensive gameplan for the Bears didn't involve doing anything to capitalize on Fields' strengths. Said everything came easy to them after the second possession.
Really got an almost 40 Jason Peters out there playing LT

He one of those try and outsmart you Cacs, probably thought they'll be looking for him to move the pocket so he decided to go straight drop back :mjlol:

Sounds like what happened to the letter. He should have just played to the kid's strengths and used traditional concepts as palate cleansers/curveball here and there.

I haven't seen a DL dominate games like Donald since Reggie White. He's gonna go down as one of the GOAT DLs when he's done.

he’s already a goat breh. He may go down as THE GOAT. It’s hard to gauge his impact sometimes cuz what he does doesn’t always show up in the box scores but this man is different. If he ain’t getting qb pressures and TFLs, he’s taking on double teams and making it easier for someone. He’s really a monster.

Fair comment. Still, it's on the coach to put Fields in the best possible position to succeed whether his hand is forced or not when it comes to playing the kid.

What's scoring when you aren't winning? There's a blueprint and teams are following it to a tee. The Browns could have won that Week 1 game.

So the "blueprint" to beat the Chiefs is to "beat them"? Then how did the Bucs give teams the blueprint if the Chiefs had been beaten before (by the Raiders)?

What you're saying about a blueprint makes no sense.

Chiefs' defense cannot be relied upon. That said, as long as their offense is on top of its shyt, they'll have more than a chance in any game they play. Outside of one time versus the Colts, KC doesn't get shut down. They only lose when they make uncharacteristic mistakes or are missing players that would have mitigated the opponent's strengths if present.

Seattle's defense cannot be relied upon. If Minnesota had a defense they'd be a team to look out for.

The Bucs will beat the Rams if a rematch occurs in the postseason.

Derek Carr is the way-too-early leader in the clubhouse for MVP.

The Lions are going to have the No. 1 pick in the draft, but they will do all they can to avoid that spot.

Baltimore has no idea what quitting means.

I have to ask how far ahead is the Rodgers/Davante tandem compared to others in the league because when it comes down to it, they are a one-man WR corps and despite this -- as well as Adams being :deadmanny:'d by a Niner -- he still manages to get open on a must-have drive for the game-winning FG.

and that pirate team last year too haha

Rams looking like the Greatest Show On Turf again. My Cards better be ready next week.Deep down inside, I know Kliff Kingsbury's not ready, tho.Don't think he's the man for the job.His play calling/decision making is bizarre.Only his teams can have over 400 yds of offense, but at the same time, go 1/9 on 3rd down...Against the lowly Jaguars:francis:..Casuals won't get it.They look at the 30 second highlight clips and go "The Cardinals balling this year! :gladbron:" Nah..Still disjointed, shytty dumb play calls galore! Cardinals have the talent. They'd probably be a 12-13 win team if they had better coaching.I think Kliff's ceiling is 8 wins. That's the absolute best he'll ever do in the NFL.Since there's an extra game now, he'll maybe get 9.There's 14 games left in the season.I'm predicting the Cardinals to go 6-8 the rest of the way & finish the year at 9-8.I'll come back to gloat or eat my crow at the end of the season:unimpressed:

I think ya'll will make the playoffs off of your talent. But man, if you don't, that is going to be a hella attractive job especially now that you can theoretically all make the playoffs from one division.

Because the Raiders created the blueprint, dropped pass from beating them twice with the worst D in the league

Y’all arguably had the best defense last year

The defensive #s will be hurt a lil bit more by Jameis risky ass throws
What's very underrated is we shut yall WRs down in that playoff game. It was and always will be (rightfully) overshadowed by Brees' performance.

We have a championship level winning defense. But it's probably our offense that will continue to hold us back.

I will say though, I didn't have us as a playoff team this season but I think we just may be now because our defense is too good. Super Bowl tho? Nah.

As for Jameis...Payton seems to put handcuffs on him the second Jameis starts getting out of control lol. Jameis only passed 9 times I think in the second half yesterday.
