In our series of fan base analyses across leagues, we adjust for these complicating factors using a revenue premium model of fan equity. The key idea is that we look at team box office revenues relative to team on-field success, market population, stadium capacity, median income and other factors.

Green Bay is top 5 and Carolina mos def bottom 5.

This is garbage. Patriots had ZERO FANS in New England prior to 2001. In Boston they were a distant 4th behind the Sox, Celtics and Bruins. When I would come out to CT as a youngin' it was all Giants fans... now it's Pats country, I wonder why.

As for SF being so low.. lets be honest they were the worst run organization in football for a decade until Harbaugh got there. There's only so much bullshyt a fanbase is going to put up with.
