I’m from the OG NFT era crypto kitties all that shyt
So essentially blockchain is an immutable ledger meaning that once something is in that ledger it can’t be manipulated or changed in any way
So an NFT is a token (piece of data) in that ledger that can be used to show ownership of something. Like imagine if there was a reference book at a store or some shyt that showed who bought and owns a particular item.
It’s pretty much clout because all it signifies is that somewhere it was agreed upon that a particular person is in ownership of something,
People have been buying and selling dumb shyt like crypto kitties for a few years now. All crypto kitties are some dumb ass cartoon kittens listed on the blockchain attached with its own currency.
So in essence anything that someone wanna claims ownership of can be sold and bought through with an NFT. Commonly it’s been art and I’m sure it’s attached to money laundering for people who made too much money on crypto currencies and need a way to move money around.

It’s pretty easy to make em nowadays because there are services that handle the back end stuff
Monetizing it is up to your marketing plan - an NFT is just a package. You still gotta figure out how to sell the product, if you got something worth owning
Also I’m not too familiar with what’s going on with it right now, in 2021, but there may be some Ebay-like websites you can sell your NFTs on. Research those

Ive been earning free crypto from coinbase, cent(not very much) and btc from cash app the past yearIt’s pretty easy to make em nowadays because there are services that handle the back end stuff
