Habs trade Phillipe Lefebvre and a 7th rounder to Florida for George Parros

Decent. We finally get an enforcer. He's declining, but at least Brandon Prust won't be the go to tough guy on the team anymore.

Dave Nonis is a cto damn fukkup...He just got out from under a bad contract Grabovski,Komisarek and NEXT DAY turns around and signs Clarkson to a 7yr 37 mil contract

:why: 15 goals 9 assists -6 is worth 5.3 mil a season :snoop:

If ur throwing around that money why not go after Horton who signed for virtually the same...

zero difference between clarkson and clarke macarthur for me

for crying out loud bryan bickell got 4 years 16 mill

and i was like woah

this clarkson deal may be the worst signing of all time when its all said in done

Yall already know this but as a Devils fan I'll reiterate this. Nonis

That + 5 years of Bozak :bryan:

The Bruins have inked Iginla to a one-year deal worth up to $6 million. Iginla will earn a base salary of $1.8 million, with a games played bonus of $3.7 million, and a $500,000 goal scoring/team playoff performance bonus.

thats great for jarome going to show all his haters he still has it

will slide right in on that bergeron marchand line

Saddest day in Sens history.....can't believe Alfie is gone....breh was a Sen my entire life :sadcam: Don't know why he'd uproot his family and take off like that....Wings aren't even a sure fire contender.

Bobby Ryan trade was good consolation though.

They're gonna be playing in our division next year :what: If he wanted to play for a contender, I'm sure we couldve worked out an agreement to deal him by midseason if he didnt like our position. Dude wrecked the best thing this franchise has had in its history for a year with an average team.

Pens are up really close to the cap. Of course, they could have bought out Fleury's worthless ass or done something else to shake up the team...but no, clearly it was a fluke that they got obliterated by the bruins and barely beat the islanders. :childplease:

Iggy looked :flabbynsick: that entire series, I'm wondering what the Bruins saw that I didn't that made them want to drop $6 million on his :old: ass. :what:

Brehs, I'm a lifelong Pens fan but these playoffs combined with their offseason moves this year have got me feeling :pacspit:. I'm getting sick of cheering for the NHL Heat/Patriots/Yankees who end up being paper champs every year with a huge sense of entitlement, and then fold like a cheap suit the moment they run into a team that runs the trap or uses any other strategy beyond dump and chase.

Think I'm gonna start cheering for...the Habs.:wow:

penguins had no money, iggy never fit in with the pens anyways, thepens play a fast game which is why iggy couldnt keep up. Plus they keptplaying him out of position iggy belongs near the net on the right side, pens had him on the left wing.

folks are acting like iggy is washed up and done

he still had 14 goals and 33 points in 44 games

iggy will fit in on the bruins where he will be on the first pp unit, and will either play with krejci lucic or bergeron marchand

im reading on bostonf orums that iggy has to prove himself and all that

You're right, playing on the third line out of position definitely did him no favors. The genius of Dan Bylsma :ohlawd:

I'm no Bruins fan by any stretch, and I feel like this could be interpreted as Marian Hossa all over again by Pens fans, but dude's a class act and I want to wish him well :salute:.
