I'm not even angry since Kovy seemed to have Godfather Lou's blessing and this was a legit possibility after he played for SKA during the lockout. IMO it's not that he didn't want to play for the Devils but moreso that he REALLY, REALLY wanted to play in the KHL. That said, it wouldn't shock me if he's back in the Devils organization someday in some capacity. I wish him the best.

The top two guys on my wish list (Vanek and Grabovski in that order) are still available. And if he announced is retirement say 10 days earlier It's very possible none of the UFAs we signed/re-signed are Devils today. That being said in Lou we trust.
In all honesty I'm over it. He's gone, so the fukk what? The Devils will soldier on like we have for the past 2 decades. The team could've stopped this if they wanted to but they didn't. We'll be fine.
