Is Toronto really bout to drop $30 mill on Clarkson? He was great for us but he ain't worth a $6 million cap hit.

The little midget is probably gonna tell some bullshyt story about how it's always been his dream to wear a Habs jersey, when he dissed us 7 years ago to sign with Philly.

The Habs are like the simp that marries the former "hot girl in high school" after she dissed him back in the day to date thugs. :beli:

Mikhail Grabovski went in on Randy Carlyle :krs:
Siegel: Grabovski rips Carlyle upon exit from Maple Leafs

I play in the [expletive] Russian KHL, I make lots of [expletive] points and what's going to happen? He make me [expletive] play on the fourth line and he put me in the playoffs on the fourth line and third line again," Grabovski spewed. "Yeah, I don't score goals. I need to work more about that. I know that. But if you feel support from your coach [you'll find success]. I don't feel any support from this [expletive] idiot."

"Wilson [expletive] pushed me same hard as this," Grabovski said, months of frustration finally bubbling to the surface, "but don't be an [expletive] with me. If you don't like something tell [expletive] right away, don't put me on the bench, healthy scratch [me] or something. Don't put me on a [expletive] third line and then [expletive] play me six minutes in a game."

Two schools of thought on the Briere signing:

1) A skilled playoff performer who can teach the young guys a thing or two about scoring and dealing with playoff pressure. He's a huge upgrade over Ryder so I'm okay with it.

2) Another small centre on a team full of centres.

Hopefully this leads to the trading of Desharnais and we end up with:

Pac - Eller - Gallagher
Galchenyuk - Briere - Bourque
Prust - Plek - Gionta
Moen - White - Blunden

I'd prefer Alex play C but Briere can help him and he can take over later in the season if need be.

Habs sign Daniel Briere to a 2 year/$8 million deal :beli:

honestly its not bad
briere will feast, hes great on the pp and he can play center or wing
its only bad because well hes only 5'10 180 but hes french

and that clarkson deal is horrible THERE IS NOTHING GREAT about david clarkson, not a point pe game player, garbage on the power player, has 1 30 goal season but only 16 assists. Might as well have kept grabovski wha t ahorrible horrible signing. A weak free agent class has teams just throwing ridic money around. Jarome iglina prob licking his chops as hes 10 times better

hes only 21, he still has like 6 years before he enters his prime. what a horrible trade, seguin still has at least another 15-17 years in the nhl without injuries, the bruins are one of the oldest teams in the league and you trade away a young guy.

seguin had 67 points last year and 32 points in 48 games this year, what a horrible trade

The Edmonton Oilers have informed forward Shawn Horcoff that he has been traded to the Dallas Stars.

Last season, Horcoff scored seven goals and five assists for 12 points in 31 games.

The 34-year-old veteran has a $5.5 million cap hit but has two years remaining at $4 million and $3 million, respectively.

Horcoff, who has a limited no-trade clause was drafted by the Oilers in the fourth round in 1998.

the amount of buthurt and crying over the past few days on HFboards Montreal Canadiens forum has been comedy of epic portions. First the moaning over Vinny snubbing the city yet AGAIN(i LOVE vinny :inlove: and don't blame him for not wanting to play in that fishbowl) and now the crying over the Briere signing.. :dead: :bryan:
(no offense to the habs fans ...J-lova..Jamal ) but that forum is pure comedy ... *heads back over there*

*poof*
