Bergevin doesn't make much sense with this one. He worked on Max's deal when dude had one year left..then starts negotiating with PK after the lockout.
He better get good pieces because this deal with define him. He's not looking too good so far.

It is so nice to have a healthy Markov back and Carey Price is on his game again. 
As much as I love PK(no homo), I wouldn't do it. He hasn't proven himself to be worth it yet. Two 35 point seasons don't justify a long term deal. I think a two year deal at 3.5-4 mill per season sounds fair.
