Yeah, I feel him on this to an extent, mainly on points 2 and 4.

They could have done a better job with the Mandarin in Iron Man 3, and Loki >>>>>>>>>>> all of the other Marvel villains.
They could have done more with Red Skull, but he wound up in the bushes. It would be a shame if they started overusing Loki and they wore him out :flabbynsick:

Most of all, they need to get the rights to X-men, Spider-Man, and Fantastic Four back from these other studios.
A Marvel made X-men movie would be >>>>>>>>>
They would at least put some actual focus on other characters besides Wolverine :beli:

The thing that most Marvel movie fanboys refuse to admit is that most of those Marvel movies are just OK...not great, not amazing but "just OK". So when they start moaning about getting the rights to FF, Spider-Man and X-Men back because they want Marvel to make better movies than what Fox and Sony are making it ignores the fact that most of the Marvel Studios movies are on par with the X-Men and Spider-Man movies (FF just sucks outright) and sometimes come up lacking.

Neither Thor film was great...the sequel was better than the first one but they were both just ok.

Iron Man hasn't had a movie worth a damn since the first one.

They won't even make anymore Hulk movies (which is shame because I liked the Edward Norton flick more than most Marvel movies).

Capt. America was good.

Avengers was really, really good.

Iron Man was great.

Raimi made two great Spider-Man movies before falling off with that third one. The first Amazing Spider-Man was just OK.

Singer's first two X-Men movies were really good and great respectively. The third one that Brett Ratner made was shyt. First Class rebounded though and was really good. The first Wolverine was terrible but the sequel was OK.

Marvel is not infallible. Sure they have a "master plan" and they make shytloads of cash but in terms of quality they haven't hit homeruns every time at bat.
Of course I would like to see all of the Marvel characters interacting in movies but I don't see Sony or Fox giving up their rights as long as super-hero films continue to generate big money. But wanting to see them in the same cinematic universe as a fanboy is different than just expecting the films to be better just because Disney re-acquired the rights because that is not a guarantee.

I think Marvel has been the most consistent but at the same time complacent.

The biggest mistake I think they make when they are doing these movies is not having cameo's from each other. Each story has to be stand alone with each super hero getting their own screen time. Imagine how better the Iron Man sequels would've been with a cameo from the Hulk or Captain America. This leads to the most annoying aspect of them not having the full roster of Avengers.

The only 2 villains in Marvel movies worth a damn and that they keep using over and over are Loki and Magneto. The other villains just flat out suck or portrayed horribly. They fukked up The Mandarin, Venom, Doom, Hobgoblin and Galactus....
and it sounds like we're gonna be adding Apocalypse to the list from what I'm reading

Ultron has a lot of potential as far as the villain thing, but a lot of what he's saying is on point for sure. The ending credits complaint was a reach.

I was feeling fat man's rage against MOS it was just unfocused.
I must say he's dead on with this. Marvel has gotten complacent in some of their writing. I hope they don't fukk up Avengers 2 or Thanos.

And he was spot on about how they use Loki. I feel the same way.

They could really do something with this DOFP story but those pics made me throw up in my mouth. They could introduce so many amazing villains like Mr. Sinister but like you said Fox will fukk that up like how they've done all of the villains so far.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
Good points, but I'm getting tired of people hoping for the Spiderman, X-Men, FF rights to revert back to Marvel. It's never going to happen, brehs. If something doesn't work, Sony and Fox will just continuously push the reboot button until something does work. I realize that it's Disney, but if you want to put things in perspective, the Spiderman films rights cost between $2-3 billion dollars, which is what Disney paid for Marvel and it's also a little over half of what they paid to get the Star Wars rights. It's just never going to happen.

Yeah, it is a pie in the sky type thing. These movies make $ why would any studio give the rights up? For the fans?! :mjlol:

And not to get all technical it is Disney (not Marvel they all have Marvel rights) that is doing it best followed by FOX, and then Columbia. IMO at least.
