Two guys - Nick Van Exel and Baron Davis - if they were born even just a decade and maybe six years later respectively, would've been statistical MONSTERS in this era.

I genuinely believe this. I didn't watch Baron Davis play much, so can't speak on him, but watched Nick Van Exel plenty. Although his fg% isn't the greatest, his 3FG% is in the upper 30's and made some extremely difficult ones. Right now with the leauge in love with the 3 ball, Van Exel gets the green light and he'd drop them.

I'm telling you, giving Nick Van Exel free reign, an ultra green light, a spread floor, and no one allowed to touch him without a foul being called, there's no reason he wouldn't be doing what Isaiah Thomas is doing right now. :yeshrug:

nick van exel would be one of the greatest players in nba history if he was born 15 years later.
