Lana Del Reys re-release of Born To Die sold 70k first week

Nicki should've done atleast the same or more if she as hot as ya claim

That's not a re-release, at least not in the sense that Nicki's is. It's a standalone EP. Nicki's Re-Up is only sold with as a box set that includes Roman Reloaded. With Del Rey, there's one sold with Born To Die and there's just the EP.

Weeknd just packaged three mixtapes that were available from his website for free up until about a month before the official release, added 3 songs and sold about 80k.

Those songs was better mixed and mastered tho, but yeah.

Nicki Minaj Calls Steven Tyler’s Slam of Current Crop Of ‘Idol’ Judges “Racist”

American Idol judge Nicki Minaj today says it’s “racist” of Steven Tyler to predict that she’d probably send Bob Dylan back to “the cornfield” if he appeared as a contestant on the Fox show. The current judge’s backlash on Twitter against the former Idol judge came after Tyler unfavorably compared the present panel to when he was on the show. “If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield! Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with Phillip Phillips. Just saying,” the Aerosmith lead singer told MTV News Monday. “I know that they’ve got something going on on the judges’ panel, [and] it shouldn’t be that, it should be just the opposite. They should have something going on, which is called ‘camaraderie,’” Tyler said in reference to rumors of in-fighting on the judge’s panel between Minaj and Mariah Carrey. Minaj, who was officially announced as one of the replacements to the departing Tyler and Jennifer Lopez in September, responded with a flurry of tweets today. “You assume that I wouldn’t have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go fukk yourself and worry about yourself babe,” Minaj added on Twitter. “When Steven 1st went on Idol he was ridiculed by his peers & fans alike. Called a sell out. So what does he do? Ridicule the next judge,” she said later this afternoon. Tyler was a judge on American Idol from 2010 to 2012. Both he and Lopez left earlier this year. Minaj, along with country star Keith Urban, joined Carey and long-term judge Randy Jackson this season

White people just aren't feeling her like that. Her attempts to appeal to both white and black audiences at the same time have been very weak, and everyone sees through it. Her music is also too explicit to generate the type of sells Katy Perry and Lady Gaga get from the tween demographic. So she's stuck trying to appeal to all groups and the result is a product as schizophrenic as the Roman character she portrays.

She seems to think she is entitled to the sells Gaga, Perry, and Lil Wayne generate - and throws fits when she doesn't sell well. Well she'll continue to under perform based on the standard her first album set as that fickle audience continues to move back and forth to various other pop acts. This is why I don't believe her "barbie" movement is real. They aren't the loyal army Gaga has with her "monsters" nor are they as powerful as all the tween/teen girls Katy Perry has. Also her gay fanbase seems rather low imo; gay dudes buy a lot of albums, and they aren't checking for Nicki like that.

In short I think she's done, brehs. Azelia Banks is already slowly bubbling up, she has the gay dudes on deck (pause), etc. I don't think Banks will become some huge star, but she'll probably eclipse Nicki soon enough. And if not I'm sure there's a record label out there right now crafting some light skinned black chick's image for the big leagues.

This :ehh:

We're all demonic friend :sadbron:

Lets keep our demons localized to the smallest radius possible You really inspire demonic activity when you tell a friend "f up fakkit" because he made a comment about the demonic climate of the music industry as it relates to the listeners. We have to be better like upgrades, friend.
