Trading him for a player who’s 6 years older with an injury history and not even future picks is malpractice

Also if you read the articles on how the deal came together Nico actually thought AD was a much better player. He was actually shocked he could get AD for Luka lol
He didn't even get Austin Reeves in the deal

He just got worked by his "boy" Rob Lowe Pelinka :mjlol:

Pelinka ruined his career

That aint an excuse when you are in charge. They are either stupid or on some bullshyt. Either way its on them since its their team.

Owning sports teams has become just another way for wealthy individuals to diversify their investments. Like any other investment, they rely on advisors to help guide their decisions. From what Dumont said, though, it’s clear he doesn’t really understand basketball and had no grasp on the magnitude of trading away one of the top three most valuable assets in the league right now.

Nico was always right. Luka has dunked the ball 2 times in 3 years. And he’s only 26. His defense has gotten even worse. There’s no way in hell you pay some regressing that quickly $375 million a year.

His ceiling was reached when he had a true alpha scorer to carry him when it matters (Kyrie) because he will never be in shape.

He only played 3 months of basketball this year and he looked like Larry Bird on his way out of the league last night :picard:
“Luka isn’t in shape and gets fatter every year because he plays too much basketball” @Gil Scott-Heroin :bryan:

The regression can be seen in real time. Last year he was getting by Rudy and scoring on him much easier. This year he had to rely on fadeaways and long bombs. Nico was right
The fact that Luka has dunked more times than AD this season, and AD is the one who's fat, out of shape and is perpetually in street clothes makes these posts that more hilarious. You spoke the very opposite into existence.

Your jinxing powers have now surpassed Swagnificent's. He's smiling up from hell, proud of his only son that made it.

:wow:

"Some trades were surprisingly pricy for the returns; others that likely would’ve been mistakes, like how Harrison attempted to deal two first-rounders for Kyle Kuzma, went unpunished despite Harrison’s best efforts. One team source recalls a document where Harrison placed Jrue Holiday within the same trade target tier as Nikola Jokić. ":patrice:

If he'd stay long enough, C's could have tried to get Flagg for Minott :lolbron:

In the case of Dumont/the Adelsons, they don’t give two shyts about basketball

They are throwing big money behind the scenes to get gambling legalized in Texas, and their big plan once they do is to build a supercasino resort in the Dallas area with a new Mavs arena as part of it. Mavs are a means to end for them
