This came up a few years back and people pointed out that the nba is classified as entertainment, just like the WWE for example. So they are legally insulated there would be no ‘fraud’ at play

Not when there’s gambling involved.
Not when there’s big marketing money involved. And again, why would half the league and multiple billionaires conspire to get one random team the first pick. Silver works for the owners, not the other way around.

People also pick and choose when they choose to do it.

I used to believe in such things until I grew up and understood how randomness, business, and the law works. And that shyt always leaks. The mf Mossad, CIA, Chinese communist party, Irans revolutionary guard and them leak. But one single aspect of the of one single subset of the entertainment business is more secretive than any factor in the world. And that’s the nba draft :mjlol:

To forego their net worth increasing and increase that of their opps

When they remove the lottery, and teams start tanking even before the all-star. I want you all to proudly state that you were part of the grassroot tinfoil hat movement that lead to that. Then apply for jobs at Tubi
They don’t forego their net worth if big market teams become more popular because revenue sharing is a thing. Not every lottery is rigged but in certain years it is. Too many “coincidences”.

LeBron going to Cleveland, Cleveland then getting three number ones after LeBron leaving. Rose going to Chicago, AD going to New Orleans after the sale of the team from the NBA. New Orleans getting another number one after trading AD to NO for a bag of peanuts. Wemby going to SA, and of course Dallas getting number one after trading Luka for broken glass.

They do forego, as in the NBA it's not the revenue that make owners rich it's the capital appreciation of having a strong branded and desired team.

What I'm saying is that it might not be completely unfathomable that they have done it historically, like with Lebron. That shyt was almost too good to be true.

But the randomness with which people say that it happens is weird. Like when Lakers, Knicks and Celtics kept on getting fukked. Even when tanking. But somehow little ass San Antonio is the puppet master of the NBA. Compelling stories are not being told by the conspiracy theorists and there's too many holes. It's only, every time a big team gets a high pick = cheating, every time a small team gets it = no cheating. Might as well say every time a big team wins the league = cheating, a small team = no cheating.

So you agree with me, you think there’s a possibility it’s rigged in certain instances, that’s all I’m saying. I don’t think every year it’s rigged

You could have the historically worst team in the league and it’ll still gain value, a rising tide lifts all boats.

MJ bought the bobcats for 275 million then sold them for 3 billion, despite being historically bad. Your logic is flawed

if you still don't think the Mafia ass NBA had their hands in the trade...i don't know what to tell ya. I been sayin it from the start and this is the proof. You gonna tell me that A 1.8 percent chance of landing the 1st pick happens and that it's a coincidence? Hopefully this puts an end to all that goofy ass "fire Nico" nonsense.
