After seeing Luka in the playoffs, they were absolutely right trading him. Dude is a cone lol
That "cone" took them to the Finals.

And this season the player they traded for couldn't even make it through the play-in game without going down injured. I don't know about you, but that doesn't seem like an "absolutely right" trade to me.

If I am the Mavs I go for Giannis..Giannis, AD, Kyrie and co can get you a championship right now.....but from a business perpesctive if Flagg is can give you another decade of tickets sales, you keep him too.
Idk Flagg and Lively are two pretty good young pieces. If anything they should see if they can snooker some more good young pieces and just do the rebuild.

I wanna say the shyt is rigged but as terrible as the Knicks and Lakers were the back half of the 2010's and NEVER get the top pick tells me otherwise
The big market thing has always been around, but it exploded when TV contracts got big, players made more money and got a bigger voice and say so with Adam Silver.

lol the Cone is the biggest reason why the Lakers did not advance. They absolutely advance with AD. Lively and Garland helped Luke out a lot.

The problem with all y'all saying it's rigged, y'all were the same ones who were of the belief all season that the NBA was going to gift the Jazz the #1 pick so they could have Flagg as the face of the franchise. Y'all were still parroting this theory even after Luka was traded. Point being, there's only 14 spots, so the likelihood there's going to be a narrative curated around the lottery being rigged is always going to be high.

If you think of it as, every year there's like a 40-50% chance that whatever team lands the #1 pick there's going to be a grand conspiracy around that team winning.

If the NBA truly wanted to manipulate the lottery, they would've made sure all those tanking ass teams would've got the top picks because it's better for the league that the bad teams don't stay being bad.
Nah fukk that :damn:

The flattening of the odds in 2019 wasn’t an anti-tanking measure, it was a pro legacy franchises and big markets measure.

The Wizards did ethical tanking. Children playing big minutes.

The Jazz got fined by the league for their unethical tanking. They dropping to 5 is justice!

And the 76ers getting a top 3 pick is ridiculous. Embiid went down and they suddenly move up? :camby:

San Antonio? That Shid is crazy!!!

I wouldn’t feel this way if the Bulls and Blazers moved up.

It's tough out here as a Wizards fan, huh. Cooper really would've fit in well with your young dudes. Maybe y'all need @PS5 Pro to pass before the curse is over.

The last time the Wizards got the #1 pick

The owner died

And then Gilbert Arenas brought guns into the locker room

:snoop:

I am more mad they are lying about this shyt than they are doing it.
This is partly why I don't blame LeBron for "Team Hopping".....I think the NBA powers that be put him up to it.Wherever he goes, it creates a ratings extravaganza.Even if he has to pour himself into the role of a villain Hulk Hogan NWO/WWE style.Same shyt. The NBA just tries to be more sophisticated about it...Well, they used to be, at least. They make it so obvious, even a fool can see it nowadays. They have no respect for the fans.Hardly even care to cater to them anymore. All the money's in the TV deals. The NBA's going to really show their azz for the next 10 yrs. They got their money already...But yeah, Bron's a controlled asset operating under the illusion of "Player empowerment"..Some of these troubled cats won't like me saying it because they've bought it hook, line, and sinker :francis:

In return they made him a player in their world through Klutch. As soon as he retires he is going to ”buy” into Klutch and run the second biggest agency to continue to stack teams and move people around.

It’s what it is but it’s crazy people refuse to see the fix. They think fair play is something adults do, like when they use to play the game as a kid.

NBA gotta realize….. yea we get how sexy many of the big markets are to small markets

But there are mid size markets on the cusp from becoming Big….. Charlotte is one of them

NY not gonna get no bigger
Cali not gonna get no bigger
Dallas not gonna get no bigger
Miami is not gonna get no bigger
Chicago is not gonna get no bigger
ATL is cooked

But if they give Charlotte a chance….. they will lock down the entire southeast
GSW wasn’t a major market for the NBA before and now they’re a commodity for the nba. If you allow an area star power(and not just one star), that market will grow.
