Nah, I didn't say discard their country of origin. I said don't beat your chest about it in 1 instance then hide it when its convenient or might diminish something you say in another instance.
Ok that’s fair but again most of these kids couldn’t tell you the history of the country their parents came from or speak their native language so I don’t take them seriously to begin with.

Straight from the Russian playbook. Find dumb shyt to divide your opponents then laugh when they fight over it. Don’t know what it’s going to take to wake them up.
Um thats basically what shes trying to do

As a nigerian from new york she doesnt know shyt about how black women from the south dress. She knows this would cause conflict amongst fbas

im not sure what point you think your making

1. To your first point regardless of that fact you don’t tell ppl from those non black countries to discard their country of origin. You only tell that to black ppl that’s kinda telling

2.Who pretends? Nah they know they just don’t care. Seriously after certain point you know how New Yorkers are just Kip
No one is telling anyone to discard their country of origin. We are telling them not to disregard our unique ethnicity for their benefit. It would be like us going over to one of your homelands, waving our flags, but then also trying to interject ourselves into your countrymen's affairs like we are a member. We would be outsiders there to ethinic issues in those countries, just like you are outsiders here to ethinic issues among Black Americans.

Many of you made it clear you are not one of us. We have accepted that and are reinforcing it is all, by stating yes "You are not one of us".

Herein lies the issue.

This isn't the way and never had been. This is exactly the "flat Blackness" FBA preaches against.

People think that you claiming your ethnicity and origin is about being anti them. That is a mental hurdle that they can't get over. Thus they see a story like this and it's immediately about them being attacked by an outside.

Way too much confused buffoonery going on.
OK so you shouldnt have a problem with FBA then, correct? :why:

Thats the point tho. The flyest girls in NY are Black American. She knew not to explicitly make it an ethnic thing.

She is piggybacking off those Black American girls when if we look at how Nigerian American and Nigerian women in general dress...

So, then why do you proceed to make it an ethnic thing?

She's just taking pride in NYers being flyer than everyone else.

Just like EVERY NYer lol.

We're acting like it's the first time this has been said.

For example, the Caribbean dudes I grew up with are fly as hell.

But the Caribbean nikkas I've seen in Florida, can't dress for shyt. And the Black Americans in Florida dress just as bad lol.

Fly is fly.

1. Nobody that I personally know of does that, you guys are using sources like Twitter to drive the outside world when it’s proven time and again that sources like Twitter is a literal microcosm of human fukkery abound.

2. American as a whole especially white Americans have very shyt understanding of race/ethnicity/nationality. That’s not us doing that, that’s them because in their eyes it’s easier to just group all black ppl together. Even the consensus on race makes it confusing when filling out applications. This is where I say the UK has America beat, they actually introduced stricter guidelines when filling out their applications so you know whose from where.

3. Again being from North East everyone gladly flies their flag especially due to events like Carnivals and cooler fetes it’s more of an aesthetic/optics thing for colors. And I do mean everyone looking out my window I see a Haitian flag, Guatemalan flag, Cambodian flag, and a few DR and Irish flags outside ppls houses.

So, then why do you proceed to make it an ethnic thing?

No, I am using real life stories told to me by family members, and seeing it for myself. I am 55 years old, I have seen outright how many non-Black American ethnicities went through a lot of trouble making sure they were not considered Black American. I have seen with my own eyes, and heard with my own ears statements about how their parents told them not to interact with us. I have also seen complaints how they were treated by our children when they were children, and them using it as a reason for why they act that way towards us as adults.

Also, btw. My wife's sisters are half-guyaneses and live in NY. They have told her about it, and it has not stopped. So this is not just happening on twitter, and also I do not even use twitter anymore. I don't base my judgement of this on twitter, I base it on what I have seen and heard from people I actually consider important in my life.

Never have. I have a problem with the founder and him doing shyt like he is now. Spreading hatred and division while claiming the goal is identity and reparations. Yet all he does is post hatred towards Africans. Nothing to be confused about. I've explained this to you numerous times. You can't be this slow. Dude spent the last year making c00n AI art. What part of the game is that? :skip:

Where were you when he claimed that a Nigerian started a war with FBA?

Where were you when he claimed Africans drove up the HIV rates in Atlanta?

Still pretending you don't know why he is hated. He cannot be redeemed. He has to die

It's crazy to me that we think the biggest insult to people is that they can't dress. I've even heard this from men. It always made me see them as feminine. What grown man talks about outfits and shyt.

It gives single mother household vibes. Fr.

Get money, education, land, empolyees, self respect...some shyt that'll mean something to you a year from now.

We stay worried about impressing other broke MFs.

Americans in Africa claim they are from America. Doesn't change the fact that we are both Black or from Africa.

Obtuse

All this bytching and moaning because someone who lives in NY made an observation about different regions. Your problem is a you problem. You think she coming at you because she's Nigerian not from NY. Simple shyt like this confounding an adult is alarming. :laff:

It's amazing what bias does to the brain. Mental clamp on reason.
