I mean not even listening to the broad...yeah NY is more fashion conscious than the south. Theres no shame in admitting that. Fashion is more important to them than us.

I guess it takes someone who has lived in both places to understand. For the most part WE DON'T GIVE A FUKK ABOUT FASHION down here. Especially our women. We'll when I say fashion I mean...labels. We don't have to have the flighest labels to pull down here. More goes in to it than labels.

A bytch will have a gang unit of ass down here and have on a Walmart or cititrends dress...and every nikka will be trying to holler.

I can have on a pair of no name jeans, a white tee, some clean sneaks, and a small chain, but because my name and/or my face ring bells...I have my pick of women. Plus I keep money.

After living in Brooklyn it's one of the things I appreciate back home. I don't have to constantly be worrying about my labels matching and being updated.

because those 3 things you listed don’t make any sense

1- the hell does colorism have to do with anything?
2 - it’s our nature to make jokes on each other , so you can’t use that as an excuse when the overwhelming majority of our jokes went to Spanish and Caribbean
