In nigeria, they be having math/science olympic shows etc on national tv. Education is like a sport over there, they are competitive as hell with each other. So when they come over here, they don't give a fukk.

Nigeria is not even in the top 10 in literacy in Africa. So you know Nigerians rate of literacy is lower than African Americans.

On a real note I wish the very best for all brothers and sisters no matter where they are, but those Igbos that come to the USA need to change their ways. They need to realize that there are millions of African Americans with college degrees that are just as or more successful and richer than any Igbo in the USA or for that matter in Africa. So those Igbos need to gain an appreciation for where they are and the people that made their success possible in the USA. It is odd that I have rarely if ever seen comments from a Fulani, Hausa or Yoruba people that match the hubris and arrogance that repeatedly come from the mouths and fingers of Igbos.

Nigerians will always have that arrogant attitude cause "education" specifically focused on STEM is heavily promoted in the motherland way more than america. Over here, we laud entertainment too much.

I have never seen BET, TV One feature science, tech etc programming. It's the complete opposite in africa. That's why you see all these africans having that snobby behavior acting like they're superior to others.

You mean to tell me education in STEM is heavily promoted, but the roads are still fukked up? All those people, and no one can create something to fix the infrastructure? I would be ashamed to be so educated, and still not have my people living better, regardless of the government not caring, especially if I have others getting foreign money.

I think the Arrogance is something deeper, and genetic. My theory is if you breed with those who act just like you, your children would have those same traits. Education is just an excuse to express those narcissistic traits, but the fruit of that arrogance we can all see, the people just care about their own family. This is for whites in the states as well, and latin America. Most narcissist tend to like anything that gives status, even if that status really doesn't mean anything in the long run.I have seen people brag about their status, but family fukked up(they look nice, though), in debt(but house is nice), and they are just wack. Don't get me wrong education in the sciences is important, but once you don't create an all around fulfilled way of life, you end up just being food for someone else who does get it. Then you will just be mad, and try to dis people who you feel is less then you. People who are making moves don't have time to hate on others or watch what they are doing, that's how I know what group is not doing anything and who is.

To me Narcissism is killing black people all over the world. You need it to make it out of hard situations, but if you don't learn how to cut it off when its not needed, it will make you look like a fool. I seen it in my own family!
