Africa was colonized by Whites, you don't necessarily have to be "westernized" to be affected by the ills of white supremacy.

What a lot of people don't realize is that most African countries didn't get their independence until the 50s-60s. While we were over here fighting for the right to vote and end segregation, they were over their fighting from freedom from colonialism.
Africans, just like blacks in the west, have suffered under the same system of white supremacy.
