I'm neutral towards this. I support Kaep and I think Nike took a stance as well.

However, ultimately this is a co-sign by a white operation that protesting police brutality is "ok". This is some lunch counter/Selma march type deal (which was co-signed by many whites back in the day as well). That only works to a certain extent. We need to build resources and create political and economic leverage for ourselves, because begging for equal treatment in the form of protesting is only going to work so much.

I don't think Amerikkka will ever "give" us a fair shake. There will have to be some negative ramifications for not doing what we want, before any action is taken. That doesn't mean I'm against protesting, but the end goal is to create a strong economic and political base, which would give us better leverage on these issues.

Surprised at Kap. More black kids died over Jordans than police brutality. Kids sells drugs to buy Nike products. Not being critical but just surprised.
Wow, EVERYTHING you said was false. Granted there were a few kids who got shot over Jordans in the early 80's but to say "more kids died over jordans than police brutality" is the epitome of ignorance. I won't question your race but I would advise you to do your research of countless white people beating each other and some dying over black Friday deals at walmarts and best buys. And saying "kids sell drugs to buy nike products". You know what I digress. That statement is so racist, ignorant, and trollish, that it doesn't even deserve a real response...negged:camby:

Must be hard being this fragile. You are the most privileged group in the country. You set beauty standards. Mass shootings etc don't reflect on your entire race like it would others and you got the benefit of the doubt. You got your racist POTUS who ''puts america first''. Meanwhile you got black people on trial for their own murders and you're this mad that someone protests the injustice.....Must be hard being this fragile. Most of em probably wi forget why their mad :mjlol:

The problem is with whole #boycottnike is EVERYONE has a platform via social media to get their point across on a platform NO matter how ignorant and divisive it is. I still believe Kap would like to play in the NFL because even today with no training camp he could start for a number of teams. But he'll go down in infamy for something far greater and its excellent that Nike put this out right before the NFL season.

We live a capitalist society, and Kap still has NFL money, plus securing the bag from nike, and his pending NFL suit. He's more than financially set for life and can be on the road to set generational money/wealth for his bloodline and well as help others. And to top it all off, no risk of CTE and damaging his body even more.

I hope this is the spark to bring down the NFL brand even more...
