It wasn't stronger than the Towns/Embiid/Wiggins team, the US has now lost 3 of the last 4 Hoop Summits :francis:

More skilled on the perimeter IMO and even bigger.

US still blowing teams out in FIBA where it counts.

Ehhh

He has been out this year with an ankle injury, plus he is technically playing a year ahead of his correct grade.

The 2016 class is the wrong class to critique.

I'm not critiquing the class it's the fact that Woods was made into a Rose/Westbrook level prospect off YouTube clips when he's not that level of player

That's true because the US produces more overall talent, the issue is that the World is now starting to produce top tier talent which it never really did before. I mean, the US got it's ass handed to it in the Rising Stars challenge too :francis:

It's really stupid, he should be a pick and pop/roll PF, instead of trying to be the next KD.

Ya I have a feeling that in a decade Hoop Summit will be North America vs The World

Dude is 15. It's literally impossible to tell what he is.

I followed Russell Westbrook when he was 5'11'' and getting recruited by Creighton his JR year. Woods is ahead of that as a 15 year old junior.

Nah, the 2013 World team had Embiid, Towns, Wiggins, Schroeder and Exum.

Those first 4 alone are just :whoa: in comparison to this years World Team. And the World is definitely catching up, there's a lot of top tier prospects coming from everywhere in the world now. It's the damn Global Game, just wait till them Brazilians pick it up next :francis:

Btw a friend of a friend to me that Jalen Brown has a 42-45 inch vertical and 38-40 in with no head start.
I dunno if it's true but the source is fairly reliable.
I'll try to get some more insider info if I can

Like I said, this team is much more skilled on the perimeter and bigger.

I'm not getting your point. The gap between the US and any individual country is still so vast that gauging the hoop summit (which doesn't construct good teams IMO) as a barometer of development is flimy.

The 2013 team is better than this one by far, nevermind the fact nobody on the perimeter from this years squad will be on Wiggins level. And they are only bigger because QI is 7'2", and even that is close since that 2013 World team had Embiid at 7'1", Towns 6'11", French dude at 6'11" :yeshrug:

The Nike Hoop summit is the US vs the World and I'm talking about how the world has caught up and is producing top tier talent, how could you miss the point :lupe:

In an all star game predicated on shooting, handling and passing.....Simmons and Murray are far better.

Because its not a very salient point

Oh the billions of people outside of America finally can field a competitive team in aggregate? :heh:

No, they aren't better in any setting :russ:

You gonna mention shooting in the same sentence as Simmons too? :lupe:

Considering the World couldn't put together competitive teams for the 6 years in a row that the US won, it actually is telling now that they are producing talent and are winning a competitive game.

We don't market it enough or make it cool either ..everything's about putting someone on a poster or breaking ankles.

Seventh Woods was made into a star through YouTube even though his skill level isn't that impressive and he's ranked in the 20's in his own class

This is against the 2014 class. So Tyus, Oubre all them nikkas.

:camby::wtf:
