Yea I dont like using regular season as much of a gauge either. But that was the only time we saw them both play while healthy.

Kyrie isnt a good defender when chasing guys off screens. So he may have struggled with Steph with that. But on the ball he's one of the better defenders (surprisingly)

Also gotta factor in Klay Thompson struggling vs. Shump this series. If Klay proved to dominate that matchup then I'd side with the Warriors. But seeing how meh he was...

I'd also worry about Draymond Green going off on Kevin Love. However, the Cavs showed plenty of times they'd sit Love in the 4th. However, when the Warriors go small you could have put Love on Harrison Barnes since he just camps out at the 3 point line.

Them dudes still dont have championship experience. So I'm not saying its a lock the Cavs would have won. Just saying if Kyrie kept balling like he did in game 1. Cavs in 6 or 7 imo

As I've told you before. Just based on championship experience. LeBron/Wade and the Heat would have beat the Warriors. He just needed guys familiar with making winning plays in the 4th and can lock up guys when needed.

The more I think about it the Heat just ran into a freight train last year in the Spurs. Otherwise, they had everything to be champions (just by Wade being on the floor)
Yeah these are all pretty valid arguments. My gut said golden state before the injuries hit anyway, but as well as Cleveland was playing it would have been a tougher call. Yeah Miami just ran into a buzz saw last year. Never seen a team that driven by a loss and I've never seen Wade have that bad a series. Real anomaly.

No. That leads to a faster pace game. Means more possessions for both teams. More scoring chances and even on wide open shots Cleveland could not convert. You've clearly never seen what Kevin love and half the time kyrie Irving look like on the defensive end of the court. Those dudes are turnstiles.
Kyrie did a pretty good job game 1 on curry

Hes actually a better defender then curry

no with love in, TT isnt in. with Kyrie in, Lebron is not scoring 40 every game playing iso ball for 20 seconds a possession. The problem when people say this is they keep Lebrons stat line the same but add Love and Kyrie on TOP of that. Thats not how it works, thats not how it ever works. You gotta subtract shyt too.. Warriors were the better team PERIOD
Lebron isnt scoring 40 every game but he wouldnt need too. Thats the point of a big 3.

Lebron give u 20 at least. Kyrie give u 20 at least. Love give u 15 at least. Thats all they needed.

And u guys keep saying "take thompson out and put in love". Why not put in both? Run thompson and love at the 4/5 and make love guard draymond when the warriors go small.

You guys forget that Love can play small ball and it wouldve matched the warriors roster. Kyrie-Shump-Lebron-Love-TT

Theres literally no way the warriors are getting putback and 1 dunks with lebron, love and TT put there. All elite rebounders.
