Jordan ain't payed like that. Jordans are a billion dollar industry my man makes like under 40 million each year from its got the niccas logo on it and everything. The dude popped the brand off. Don't lie to yourself you know it weren't a 50/50 split which it should of been.

:dead: 50/50 split. i'm done :russ:

I feel the OP (no homo).

That's why I HATE when Nike exploits Black History Month every year to just pump out a bunch of sneakers to sell to the black community.

But I bet if I go into the Nike Beaverton, CO offices less than 5% of the employees are black.

They've been pimping blacks for ages...I'm sick of it frankly.

Just to push sneakers that were made for less than $2 dollars in Asian sweatshops.

why dont these nikkaz create their own shyt

I agree breh...Stephon Marbury had the right idea with teh Starbury sneaker line. And Kareem Campbell had the right idea Axion (the skate shoe brand)

and even though them shyts was ugly as hell, Master P had the right idea with the Percy Miller sneakers.

The problem is (and the prevailing problem I always see with black owned companies) is black people don't support them!

They too satisfied with repping the stuff that's already popular and established that they don't want to take a chance with something new.

Let's be real now, Jordan My dude shoes sells tons of money out here but he gets like 5% royalties if that. LeBron even less
Kanye even lefted because Nike were like we ain't paying you Nicca just be happy you get some involvement. And mvp mammas boy durant nearly went to under armour.

Nike is playing with these brothers income and bumping badly

Also clothing, you know lebron dri fit t shirt or Jeter dri fit t shirt are popping right now. How much they get for that. Got his name as well. Lebron franchise is big all over and the people who.are capitalising and make money his brand are nike he gets the leftover and tiny piece of the pie he prepared they just do the final touches.but get most the reward. You probably own one of his dri fit as well which he don't make money off because he got bumped

so they gettin "pimped" by getting paid to wear free shyt and getting royalties on shoes they didn't think up, design, manufacture, sell, etc. :mjlol:

don't out think yourself
I don't think it's that. It's more of a situation where people are distraught yet again that they'd rather be employees for someone else than bosses on their own with the influence and capital they do have.

If under armour didn't offer that much, nike would of bumped him badly.

Fact is they are grossly overpaid for sneaker deals, 10yrs 280million is a damn joke regardless how much "nike" will make. Even if its 7mil a year its about half hes making playing in the nba.

that's the thing. even rich people are not usually about risking their own capital when it comes to putting their money where their mouth is. and :mjpls: is no exception to that rule.

That's what Jordan should of done now he getting bumped like an Indian in a.factory producing these shoes wages. Jordan name was already out there it wasn't such a massive business risk. Instead of him signing a budget contract he should of been doing it himself. They don't even use the nike tick there was no reason to be getting pimped like that that's all

:mjlol: you know nothing about business. A royalty is the most secure and sure pay out. Nike is handling all the risk (distribution costs, manufacturing, logistics, design, lawyer fees and warehousing) while all M.J does is :feedme:without liability

True.

MJ though could do that and see returns...I mean kids still go nuts and buy up all the retro jordans and damn near anything with a jumpman on it.
