I love when they start with their empty threats ‘ThIS iS WhY wE’rE lEaViNG yOu’ like we’re supposed to shudder in fear and sing ‘I have nothing, nothing, nothing if I don’t have you.’

That’s why those types of relationships are statistically more likely to fail- because they have a shytty foundation. Their relationship with Becky is premised on their disdain for black woman. No good relationship can be built off the foundation of hate.

Their preferences can’t even cook or season their food anyway lol.

I’m dead. The thing is, I don’t care if Brehs go get Becky or Maria—kudos to them for getting what they want.

But they know damn well no one is envious of the unseasoned food they’re getting from women who don’t wash their hands. :deadmanny:

But what do I know, I’m just an unruly modern bw. :hubie:

Both my parents cooked but I often preferred my dads. His situation is different bc his mom passed when he was like 2. He was the youngest of 8. And his dad passed when he was 13. So he had to fend for himself. I think these things made him a selfless person and I admire that about him

is there a man in your life you cook for?

I dont cook for him that much, because he doesn’t eat like me. He’s a country boy—grew up eating chitlins, fried foods, sweet tea and a whole bunch of shyt that I could never. It’s so fatty and unhealthy. Im too vain to get fat. And I would get fat eating like him.

I cook nutritional meals. Hes had my buttermilk pancakes and the cakes and cookies I make, but for the most part we just don’t eat the same. We also don’t live together.

He knows how to cook, yesterday he made himself some fried chicken, Mac and cheese and greens. His grandma taught him how to cook. His dad is also a chef. He’s made me things before— fried wings, Buffalo chicken, etc.

my dad used to cook for me and my sisters every Sunday. He’d make some soul food, put in plastic containers and we’d come pick it up. Did this until he died a little over a year ago. He loved cooking. I like men who cook too. They usually do a good job.

Yeah… I miss that about my dad. Growing up it was always my mom who cooked. But when she passed, my dad started taking an interest in cooking. Up until he passed he would make these large meals and text us and let us know he saved some for us to pick up. We’d go to his house and we’d get a hug and a bag full of containers with food to last us for days. He was so sweet like that. Like he would just text us the menu for the week. He followed me to Charlotte lol, moved to a house that was 5 minutes away from me just so he could see my son and do things for us. I miss him.:mjcry: Cherish your father, you never know when he’ll be gone.

This is not correct at all. The substance of a culture goes trough women because they are the ones raising the kids.

Franz Fanon explained it well when he talked about the colonization of Algeria by the French. French were unable to conquer Berbers living in the mountain. In order to defeat them, after consulting sociologists and anthropologists, they came to the conclusion that they had to change the women in order to break social order of those tribes.

Traditions are not only dying in America, they are dying in everyplace the modern way of life is advancing.

That's why if you want to destroy a group's cohesion and heritage, you go for women "first". That's how colonizers used to "liberate" women of the colonized.

All this!

I'm starting not to like black women

This is some dangerous talk right here. Petty gripes are one thing, choosing not to date bw is your prerogative, but to justify not liking an entire segment of the population over something as trivial as grandmas not cooking Sunday dinner is downright scary.
