If somebody doesn't know you, they don't owe you a 'fair fight' and even if they do, you still might not get a fair fight, so arguing about how it should be like 'back in the day' when everyone supposedly threw hands is pointless. The reality is if you start arguing with someone with the intention of putting your hands on them or you actually put your hands on them, you better be prepared to catch some hot ones, so shortstop the argument before it gets out of hand and never approach someone with bad intentions because they could be packing. In fact, stay away from them little food marts and hood gas stations in the first place.
This same kind of thing was happening in the 90s and 80s too. They just didn't have the camera phones to record it. Back then, you'd get robbed of your starter jacket or killed over stepping on the wrong person's shoes. This isn't nothing new
