So are aliens, yet there are no proof that they did.
:what:
aliens?

you're saying it's impossible for a human to have existed by the name of Jesus.
I know two or three guys personally named Jesus. fukk does that have to do with aliens.
you're actually still using the argument from silence theory in 2014?

"it's actually pretty widely excepted that he did exist." It's widely accepted that aliens exist, right? Okay, and?

I'm not getting into this argument with you.

The whole thing about a white Jesus is a joke, he was a Semite which if anything is brown rather than white.

:dahell:
when i said widely accepted i meant in academia,

Most modern scholars consider Jesus' baptism and crucifixion to be definite historical facts. James D.G. Dunn states that they "command almost universal assent" and "rank so high on the 'almost impossible to doubt or deny' scale of historical facts" that they are often the starting points for the study of the historical Jesus.

There isn't any historian on the planet that will tell you aliens are definite historical facts. I can understand that a myth accompanies his story. turning water to wine etc. but nikka i was baptised myself. that isn't a reach.

:mjlol: Okay so if the person you call Jesus is a Black man, how are nikkas worshiping a 'White god' according to you?
because this is america :what:

even if what you're saying is true, the fact is that whites and blacks in america pray to a white jesus due to the b*stardized version of christianity that WAS whitewashed and then pounded into slaves' heads when the time came. Chris B saying that "slavery was a necessary evil to introduce us to jesus" is DIRECT evidence of this

and for the record i even think your version of chrsitianity makes more sense than americas, although i dont believe in either. but to act like people dont worship a 'white' jesus in america is laughable. its purely cultural and goes hand in hand with the white power structure in this country

First off, I seriously doubt you read the Bible 'cover to cover' and if you did, it's clear you were unable to understand it. And what I referred to as the truth of the Bible was not referring to whether the accounts of the Bible are 'real', but rather what it says. People like you who routinely change where the goal posts are is pretty sickening. First the argument is Blacks worship a white Jesus, and then it gets PROVEN wrong according to the Bible that Jesus wasn't white. Then people like you will claim the Bible is a 'white man's book', and use the same white picture of Jesus that was already proven to be biblically incorrect to justify that statement. If it's not that, it's that the Bible was stolen from Egyptian history and tampered with, which then still begs the question then of how it's NOT your book to begin with. If people don't believe in the Bible that's fine, but stop making up bullshyt to support your narrative. That's some tricks of the white man that y'all picked up along the way.

Read it from Genesis to Revelation, breh.

1 Samuel and 2 Samuel is some Game of Thrones meets LOTR piff. Proverbs and Ecclesiastes are the realest books in the Bible. Psalms is boring as hell. Ezekiel and Revelation reads like an acid trip. The Gospels have some decent morals, although overly pacifist yet somehow fanatical (plus the miracle bullshyt).

What I'm saying is it doesn't matter if black men wrote every word and Jesus looked like Akon. It doesn't make it any more truthful.

I'm sure you have your own interpretation of the book that somehow validates it as the word of God in your mind, but that is what's truly irrelevant, considering ten people could read the Bible and come away with completely different ideas on what it means.

Anyone who is objectively reading the Bible can see it for what it is: myths and amoral/immoral values.

The Bible is of no private interpretation. Any understanding of the Bible I have is as it is written.

2 Peter 1:20-21

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

As for the other stuff you said, like I stated before, just say you don't believe it and leave it at that.

Thanks for proving my point.
:mjlol:
i said there is enough evidence for scholars to accept that a man named Jesus was baptized and crucified. and they actually do.

you said jesus was entirely fictional without any evidence to support your claim. and modern scholars disagree with you
but i proved your point?

This leads us back to square 1; by this logic, aliens exist.

I said that there is no definite proof. There's no evidence of this character existing outside of cults centuries later. There's zero evidence of this character existing outside of cults a century later, archaeological avidence, references, and writings. Despite the fact that the letter 'J' is only 600 years old.
