It'll be interesting to see what she does. Super Bass was a huge song that turned her into a mainstream name. She had little white girls dancing to that shyt on Ellen. But since then she has struggled to find a balance between the sexy, accessible pop rap and the more explicit club and/or hip hop stuff. IMO she's really failing at this because she always releases a very explicit, over the top track that doesn't please anyone.
I remember when Stupid Ho came out and everyone was like wtf is this shyt. Then Beez In The Trap kind of satisfied the trap/club crowd. And this year she turned everyone off with the Malcolm X image and that asinine Looking Ass song. Now she's back with Anaconda which is currently a laughing stock across the internet.
The easiest thing in the world would be to just get a Mustard beat and release some type of pop rap club song. Then throw out a "hood" track for the "streets." Instead she's wasting time while Iggy eats off pop rap radio. Yall know I don't think Iggy is here to stay, but this is clearly her summer (female rapper wise). I think Nicki is going to fukk around and flop. Then next year a new female rapper will emerge and her spot will be up for grabs.
