Oh well.Starting in 2015 from what I can see College Football started to be ruined....If a team is not in the top 4 teams then their top Juniors and Seniors sit out...So if your team loses 2+ games the season is over because your team will not be in top 4 and the bowl game will be the best sophomores and freshman against the other teams best sophomores and freshman and then whoever is left over that are starters....
I get it from a business decision but if everything is business and this dynamic permeates through every industry then there's nothing left to enjoy...
my point is they will risk their bodies for 11 games of their junior or senior years but wont play in the 12th (Bowl game).. It would make more sense to me if the Junior or senior played 5 or 6 games to show they got it and only play half the season...Why play till late November just to sit out late december...thats my point...its one more game 20-30 days later and its most important one...Oh well.
Days of cats riskin their bodies playin fo free is ova

If they REALLY want to protect themselves Juniors or Seniors should play till early mid Oct 5-6 games and then check out ... shutting it down 20 days early to skip 1 game (bowl game) doesn't help much....If they want to reduce risk in a substantial way play half the season. ITs like quiting on the last 5 miles of a marathon because you want to make sure you can run again in a month.
Good at least make it make sense ...but the majority of the athletes sitting out that 12th game after playing 11 is what I have seen....Some have done just that
Most of those guys have been on teams that still were in the mix for playoff or conference championshipsGood at least make it make sense ...but the majority of the athletes sitting out that 12th game after playing 11 is what I have seen....

yea because playing in a meaningless game and risking 7 and 8 figures by possibly tersing your acl to entertain college fans who wont put a nickel towards your bills makes a lot of senseGood at least make it make sense ...but the majority of the athletes sitting out that 12th game after playing 11 is what I have seen....

It makes even less sense to play 11 games and risk tearing your ACL 11 times in the year you are going to get drafted...You have to show something so play half the season and cut down on your risk of injury by 50-60% just missing a bowl game cuts down on it 7-10% so it makes more sense to show you got in and then shut it down... not show you got it and play 5-6 more games is my only point if ya gonna do it then do it right.yea because playing in a meaningless game and risking 7 and 8 figures by possibly tersing your acl to entertain college fans who wont put a nickel towards your bills makes a lot of sense

Eh...its more selfish to play all 11 games and sit out the 12th leaving the team and backups little time/chance to practice and replace and prepare without you for the most important game.Cause you can improve your draft stock, its still important games to your football culture that need to be played and unless you fake an injury NFL gon look at you as a selfish quitter quitting 5 games in
And also the amount of players actually sitting out is drastically overstated. Its only one or 2 dudes on SOME teams. It just becomes a thing cause espn goes ham in the booth complaining about it cause they don't know how to produce a game centered around a team and not a star player.
