We really need to address superstition around here.

be dumb
Care to elaborate?
let other humans put foreign object inside of you that can be used to alter you, track you, control you and kill you.
Humans? You mean doctors? We must've read different articles because I didn't see anything in there intended to kill folks.

Yes technology has the potential to be used inappropriately. I guess you can go live in the middle of a forest if you want to stay away from cars, planes, vaccines, cell phones, laptops, and the internet if you want to but all of those things made us happier and live longer.
.....You ok being part robot or your kids being part robot???be naive brehs![]()
I guess you never heard of Transhumanism???.....You ok being part robot or your kids being part robot???
Why not? Why wouldn't we use technology to better ourselves? My grandfather had a pacemaker and it allowed him to live another 15 years. We help the blind see and the deaf hear using these types of devices. What's the argument against stopping here?
Let's say you can cure dementia/schizophrenia/some seizure disorder by implanting a pacemaker style device for the brain; something that can mitigate the effects of that disorder. Why would you withhold something like that from being used?
I've heard two arguments against this so far: some clandestine organization will misuse these things to harm us and the devil. I'm unconvinced of either.

.. we can be practical and positive thinking without being naive and/or purpose ignorantTechnology is a double edge sword. Nobody denies that, but abuse is almost par for the course. Look at the current technology we have now,...........that's outside the body![]()
