Just beat this one yesterday. The freedom you have to attack different situations is a welcome sight coming off of the souls type games where it seems like you have to die over and over to pick up on patterns

I do enjoy those but I’m glad to get some of the more stylish energy back in the action games

Anyone here beat the first 3 ninja gaiden games on NES?

And what's your thoughts on this vs those?
I was a super OG during the NES era. I enjoyed NG2 Xbox but I didn't love it more than the original. I didn't feel like it was the same game but.. after watching clips of this remake, I feel like maybe I misjudged it? Like the quick jumping, I didn't like that during the 360 era but loved it in the NES versions. I don't think I made the connection

I wish they would have updated the camera angles that's the only thing that slightly bothered me about the Ninja Gaiden games, outside on NG3 which wasn't a great game.

They’re listening so it’s a chance they can make this more like the OG NG2 and less Sigma. Like a higher enemy count and less lag.

Dmc5 was the last big fast paced action game(unless you count the latest final fantasy) before this.

Love the souls formula but this is a business full of people who just jump on a hot beat even though their bars are trash.

We got too many games trying to copy the from soft formula. Fans of fast action are starving out here. I don't know if we've ever hit the heights of the 7th gen with ninja gaiden, Zone of the enders, Dmc and Shinobi crushing buildings.
