Just curious, what's with all the negativity?

We get it, you think this is a waste of money...and I'm pretty sure 80-99.9% of thecoli knows about emus/roms, playing them on phones, tablets, etc. but so what?

It's a nice relic of the past packaged in that classic Nintendo way.

Couldn't get one dam it. I was #15 at GameStop and they only had 12. Most of the ppl buying this were older folks whose first console was the nes. Nostalgia is a big reason for the demand but I don't blame them. Plus after seeing it in person it would make a really nice collection for hobbyists.

I was able to get one this morning at Best Buy they had 35 in stock. I actually lucked out my mom watches my kids for me and my wife when we go to work. She forgot I was off today so when she rung the bell and woke us up I was like you might as well just stay so I can hit the store real quick to get the kids a Nintendo
My son was loving Excite Bike and Balloon Fight. He went from playing Nintendo to wanting to watch Transformers the Movie it's like reliving my childhood through him

My son has been able to play Lego games on PS4 since 3 years old. He now can play some more complicated games and he's only 5


For Christmas he wants a few PS4 games AND a Nintendo. Same how when I was 6, I wanted a Nintendo but still liked playing Atari

You think some 8 year old or 98 year old is on the internet looking for emulators and shyt breh to stream or connect directly to the HDTV with the controller conversion kit?

I think it's nostalgic. It's not so much about being able to play it but having the classic feeling of an NES console.
