I always thought that was a fever dream.

I swore I remembered peeling through Best Buy and JCPenney catalogs and seeing them asking for damn near $100 per game. Given how poorly the graphics on that console aged compared to SNES/Gamecube, it’s wild they were that audacious just because games were in 3D
