is this for real? I just sold the 3ds XL this past weekend since I never played it once. Guess my Wii U is next

Amazon won't give you much breh. I was buying a new gpu so I wanted decent money...sold on eBay for $130. Made about $115 after fees and shipping. Best Buy and Gamestop only offered $5 for what I had (128mb blue 3ds XL, newest model) so Amazon won't do too much more for a trade. You better off selling on Amazon or eBay
Edit: I lied, Amazon says about $70. Not too bad

Isn't this just the very definition of irony, folks asked for Metroid, Star Fox and Zelda and they got Metroid, Star Fox and Zelda, just not the way they wanted. I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry, probably the latter.

I honestly don't believe they're moving this Zelda like everyone claims since the controls seem heavily steeped in the gamepad. It's clear they've given up on the Wii U though.
I agree there conference wasn't very impressive, and they are doing a lot of questionable things, but they have a solid loyal fan base that eats that shyt up.
But the biggest thing that they've done is avoid the divide and fracturing of the fan base that Sony and ms are doing.
A lot of ppl will have a wiiu and one of the other two

Following the release schedule of the Wii and Wii U the NX probably won't be released until late 2017 which makes it very unlikely because I doubt they'd push Zelda back that far. Hell, the very idea of a Nintendo console without an original Zelda adventure during its lifespan itself would be insane (I'm not counting Hyrule Warriors). Right now I think a huge problem is that Nintendo's own development teams are spread far too wide and far too thin on titles that don't have that big Triple A feel. I'm talking all those 2D platformers (if you count New Super Mario and New Super Luigi as two separate games, they've got five of them in a 3 year span) on top of Captain Toad, Nintendo Land, Super Mario Maker and Star Fox Zero. Now you won't hear me saying anything about the quality of those games because they're mostly all great, but none of them have the scale or the 'oomph' of a full blown Zelda, Metroid or Mario (Galaxy/Sunshine type) adventure. And without a diverse third party support, it's critical they make those kind of games.
Isn't just the map and switching items on the gamepad?
It could end up being a Twilight Princess situation where its on both consoles

Nintendo just stallin for time with lickle bit of big names. Y'all knew this wasn't gonna be too worth while, and they were gonna hold off, and just present little things to cap off the year. Nintendo will deliver. This NX thing eating them up something major atm. So they're gonna have to make up for this.

With only 9 million Wii-U's worldwide, 2016 could be the last year the console. I hope the NX has a regular controller like the pro controller.
