I would say if Nintendo's next console is a flop then they should definately consider this route. I think if nintendo makes that hybrid console that's portable and you can play it as a console then they could be back in the game. But even if they do support ip to other consoles it wouldn't be a good long term investment.

If Nintendo ever became a 3rd party, they have to work under other hardware and even be bossed around to drop games every year. Let Nintendo do its own thing. 3rd party isn't made for them.

On one hand, the world has has been waiting for a huge ass Pokemon MMO for over a decade now and on PS4 and XBox the fukkery alone would be worth it.
But nah...Nintendo just needs to stop fukking around, drop a system that's comparable in power to it's competition and work on releasing the games that made it a killer in the first place. And without any bells and whistles either just make the games.

Even if they do, Nintendo really needs to work on their 3rd party relations. This model cannot be sustained...it's clear.

To put it into perspective PS2 was the highest selling console in history at the time, and the PS3 completely wiped out any profit it made. Yet there's still a PS4, and I don't remember anyone saying Sony should bow out of the console business. Nintendo will be fine, they just need to rethink things.

Nintendo will learn their mistakes and come back with some next-level shyt. They can't conform to the market, but they can adjust to it better.
They need to stop shytting around and make a console that caters to more than their E for everyone crowd. I love Nintendo games but it not having any worthwhile 3rd party games and it being severely outdated compared to current consoles makes it seem less desirable. I usually cop Nintendo systems day 1 and fastfoward to today I still haven't copped a Wii U.

That is irrelevant to anything I said. PS3 cost Sony their entire PS2 profits, yet no one was saying "Sony will obviously get out of the console race". Nintendo has 1 misstep in 30 years of the console business and people think it's a wrap?

People here have a vendetta for Nintendo because it is "kiddy" and still make great games. As long as their AAA games deliver, that is all that I will use my Wii U for. I'm tired of people talking about DLC this, and maturity that. As long as QUALITY exists, I support it.
