They need to stop shytting around and make a console that caters to more than their E for everyone crowd. I love Nintendo games but it not having any worthwhile 3rd party games and it being severely outdated compared to current consoles makes it seem less desirable. I usually cop Nintendo systems day 1 and fastfoward to today I still haven't copped a Wii U.
Nintendo games are so good because they are built with the exact platform advantages in mind. Going multiplat would ultimately dilude the qulity of their games, and they will turn into the next sega.

Not going to happen unless you hack the PS4 into playing Wii U games. Besides, most Sony gamers are too busy playing CoD and GTA to care about a Zelda game. They made fun of Nintendo for being kiddy, but now want their games?

Trust me, Lost Souls is as mature of a game as it becomes of that kind of game. Besides, you want a Zelda Storyline to deal with sex, countless betrayals, random cursing, and GTA style hi-jackings of horses? With gore and weaponry out the ass?
I just listened to this last night and while I think that'd be amazing if Nintendo IP's can be played on PS4/Xb1, it's unrealistic and I doubt Nintendo would EVER do that.

All these experts keep talking as if Nintendo is close to being broke and needs to change to survive. Meanwhile they're sitting on a couple hundred million like Scrooge McDuck and their last console was the best selling console of its gen. Have they made a turn for the worse with the Wii U? Sure, but like I've kept saying, the 3DS had a awful start as well but after a year or so it got back to printing money like its predecessor.
The only thing I don't get about Nintendo is how they aren't capitalizing on their franchises with movies and cartoons. I know the Super Mario Bros movie probably left a bad taste in their mouth, but can you imagine if they could get a proper studio to make a Metroid or Zelda movie? A Star Fox or Kirby cartoon? That's the real money making avenue for Nintendo that I can't understand they won't explore.
