Yes, I understand that the dualshock was a response to the N64 controller, but the OG PS controller has been relevant for 20+ years now.

The leaker is suppose to be putting up a video of the alleged controller tomorrow.
Now, assuming he's under NDA, why would he risk his job like that so casually? Especially when Nintendo recently "Silenced" a Youtuber for leaking legit information?

A Youtuber that went by the name Super Metal Dave 64 (and Trev on Neogaf) said he knew someone from within Nintendo and said that he will put out info about their plans for the 3DS and Wii U.
A few days later he posted a video about the 3DS line up for the year, including a few unannounced titles (Including Pokemon Sun and Moon, which were codenamed "Niji" and Disney Art Academy, which unknown until the trademark was filed for the game a day later) he posted Nintendo's marketing budget for the year (which is probably what got him in trouble since that suppose to be really confidential) and that Nintendo's support for the Wii U will come to a halt this year with all focus going to the NX. He also included that Zelda Wii U is still happening on that system but It will be getting an NX version like Twilight Princess did.
After the info came out, he suspiciously wen't silent, didn't post anything on Gaf or put up Youtube video's for weeks until one day he posted a video saying due to circumstances he will no longer be posting anymore youtube video's for a while, not a word from him since then.

The Wii changed it. (controllers now incorporate some variation of motion capture)the controller game hasnt changed since the dualshock
Wii U changed it even more (PS4 has a touchpad)

those are features, the controllers themselves have all had the same structure as the dualshock. Two control sticks, four face buttons, start and select, a d pad, and four shoulder buttons. They didnt change anything, they just had ideas that got adopted in some small way in other controllers (usually better
