I mean is that something to really be about? PS4 will be 3 years old by the time the NX drops if it drops when we think it should.

To a lot of people, Nintendo making a console more (or as) powerful than its competitors, something they haven't done in 15 years, is kind of a big deal.

However all that power won't amount to anything unless they got the games and the 3rd party support for it.

No its not doing bad. It's just that the PS4 is doing better. Estimates have the Xbox One past 20 million in sales. The PS4 is at least @35 million though.

It's doing bad breh. It's not going to even sell half of what the 360 did. 360 in its 3rd year became a juggernaut. Halo 3 & Gears 2 took the 360 to another level.

Given what they are at now 2 years in and the pace they're going at it should at least sell what the 360 sold. Also the Xbox 360 finished last generation dead last. The Xbox One will finish second guaranteed.

PS4 has at least 2 good years of graphics life left in it before people go at the visuals, like any aging console. They can wait till 2020 when they can drop PS5.

By 2018, they could always develop some new IPs and make people focus on the game quality instead

No way. For them to see 360 levels in the same time period the X1 would have to sell a million a month for 5 years straight. And it still would fall short of the 360

if they continue to sell @ 20 million every 2 years then in 8 years they're at least around 80 million. The pace is 10 million a year average.
