I think Nintendo wasn't ready for the jump to HD. The delays are out of hand.
TW 101, Monolift Soft's new game, Bayonetta 2, and Retro's games are all non-Mario or Zelda games that I want.
They still don't have that update or VC out either

They need to hurry up.

i bet some of the biggest cheerleaders were the same people laughing when Jack Tretton said he's pay over $1000 to anybody that could find a PS3 around launch and people were posting pictures with mountains of them at Best Buys around the country.

i'd like to see their hardware be better but i say this as a Wii U owner. not some guy sitting on the sidelines not supporting the company and not buying their products who would if i didn't have to pay the barrier or entry ($350 + $199 Wii U Deluxe / 3DS) to be able to access their library of games.

i'm far from rich i just came to realize the thinking i myself am even guilty of of people who backwards rationalize why they don't buy shyt they can't really afford anyway even though deep down they really want it.

what i'm saying is this if Mario and Zelda came out on the 360 and PS3 and you'd actually buy it then you wanna play Nintendo games and really have no business shytting on them or their consoles.

I don't play RPGs so I'll pass on Zelda, and I honestly don't care if I ever play a Mario game again. I'm just not interested in the IPs like that. It's the same reason I've had access to a Wii for the last 4 years and never played a damn thing on it.

I would enjoy a Metroid Prime game on the best hardware though.

The PS3 was 600 because of it's technology. Basically, the launch PS3 was a future proofed console that would get used for things outside of gaming for the next 6-7 years and beyond.

The Wii doesn't even play DVDs and it's online was and still is a mess. The console was a joke from a hardware perspective. The WiiU was Nintendo doing the same thing over again, just in HD this time. And that's why many don't care if it's flopping.

The WiiU doesn't have shyt to play on it, and it's supposed to be a gaming console first and foremost.

It's like they're trying to be forgotten. Having demos and stuff is cool but it's a mistake not to have a big conference. They should be trying to capitalize off the press MS & Sony is gonna get, even if they only get a small amount of it.

Then again, their previous conferences have been pretty bad so they probably just want to sit this one out for that reason alone

Only thing Nintendo has to do is Show Smash Bros/Mario/Mario Kart and Zelda. And at least have 2 of those for this holiday season. They will be fine if that happens.
