After Nintendo revealed the Virtual Game card change they acknowledged Switch 2 editions of upgraded Switch 1 games.

"If you scroll down to the very bottom of Nintendo’s official Virtual Game Cards page, there’s a sentence that reads: “Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games and Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games can only be loaded on a Nintendo Switch 2 system.”

Just went back to original Walmart from yesterday to get a Pro Controller because the one closest by my house said all the ones they had were preordered and they gave them out

So I am set with Switch, Pro Controller and memory card. Will get Rune Factory and Fast Fusion when I get back home
