The Switch's problems seems like they can be handled and fixed with time and cost.

In time, the software output should theoretically exceed that of the Wii U and 3DS. I mean if everything launches according to what's been announced, it's first year seems better than the Wii U e.g. BOTW, Mario Oddysey, Splatoon 2, MK8 Deluxe, XB 2, Pokemon Stars etc.

If the price is lowered this holiday to say $249-279 with a game I can see this thing selling quite nicely with Mario or Zelda.

The online nonsense needs to be worked over.

naw. i dont think nintendo got cocky off the announcement. its just that there was pretty much no news outside of its reveal so the fans went apeshyt with theories and prices. there was no way to go but down. and even then, shyt like ultra street fighter 2 was just ridiculous. if anything they were scrambling for stuff to put together

People weren't going apeshyt after the reveal. Hell people seemed pretty subdued and iffy about it on places like gaf/gamefaqs/eurogamer.


Hell most were expecting a $250 price and way more games in the launch lineup

that price point is definetely odd. same with those accessory prices. but i take that with them still living in the past. they think they still somehow living in a world where they feel they dont have to compete with anyone. and i feel like thats mostly due to being gaslit by their fanbase. i mean look at how many people are crying over the zelda trailers. but numbers dont lie, and i think theyre in panic mode. a lot is riding on the switch and they cant afford to do what they did with the wii and wii u and just stop the flow of games in its later years this time around. i agree with you on the games front. they should have way more than the games that theyve shown.

XB1 and PS4 entire launch lineup was ports outside like 2 games
theres only 1 Wii U port

matter fact the only game worth playing the first year of PS4 was The Last Of Us port

not everything is even announced yet. E3 is 3 months later

I want a Bayonetta 1&2 port. So, I hope it happens.
Also, hoping for an HD remaster of Fire Emblem Fates with all 3 parts on one cartridge

Really shocked they didn't have the Mario Kart 8 port at launch. It's only 8 weeks after but I see no reason to buy a second controller until then. Maybe Bomberman if it's a budget title
