I want a Bayonetta 1&2 port. So, I hope it happens.
Also, hoping for an HD remaster of Fire Emblem Fates with all 3 parts on one cartridge

I wouldn't mind an HD remaster of that either.
Grand opportunity to port a bunch of 3DS games.

SMT4+Apoc complete :wow:

how are people cool with them porting wiiu games to this?

what has nintendo's internal teams been doing the past few years?
My biggest problem with this as a Wii U owner is these ports. I have all the games I really wanted to get on the Wii U so I don't need these ports. More than likely there's nothing coming out until Mario that justifies the purchase of the Switch to me but I'm just a tech enthusiast so I have to have it. From the SNES on the only mainstream home consoles I didn't get at launch are the Dreamcast which I never got, the original Xbox, and the original PlayStation.

There's no excuse for Mario Kart 8 to not be a launch game when it's damn near an exact port with no new tracks and only a few new characters.

Not cool with it the same way I was getting at Sony and MS for remasters in their launch windows and I won't be getting any of the ports.

I see the logic behind it though because the Wii U failed miserably and the install base doesn't do these great games justice.

Well, we've only seen one port so far in MK8 and there's actual additions to it other than graphics. There's a few new characters and a proper battle mode (Bob-omb blast is back too :blessed:) with real arena tracks unlike the original.
Smash Bros is getting ported too obviously. Those games take forever to make, not a chance a new one is coming anytime soon

I'm assuming they want you to use a smartphone to talk online due to lack of bandwidth. This could easily be remedied with an ethernet port. (which Nintendo refuses to use for some reason)

The Switch's problems seems like they can be handled and fixed with time and cost.

In time, the software output should theoretically exceed that of the Wii U and 3DS. I mean if everything launches according to what's been announced, it's first year seems better than the Wii U e.g. BOTW, Mario Oddysey, Splatoon 2, MK8 Deluxe, XB 2, Pokemon Stars etc.

If the price is lowered this holiday to say $249-279 with a game I can see this thing selling quite nicely with Mario or Zelda.

The online nonsense needs to be worked over.

If the software ouput exceeds the 3DS then they've won. But I don't see that happening. A 3DS game has a shorter development cycle and cost less money to make. With the Switch you need more time and resources to make a game. It won't be the same. I don't see 3DS developers (3rd party) moving onto the Switch unless Nintendo pays them (i.e.: Octopath Traveler).
