That was extremely underwhelming and I've been ready to give them my money since it was first announced.

Way too much time focused on the gimmick controllers and not enough on games. Nothing but Zelda at launch and no games down the pipeline but Mario. MK8 and Smash ports are almost a given but been there done that.

First Day cop. I'm playing Zelda at lunch at work and Street Fighter 2 during break.

They had Impa from original NES speaking.

Thats how you know this shyt gonna be epic.

If I only was able to play one game this year...

Breath of the Wild Baby.

So let me get this straight...no mario and no splatoon at launch. I highly doubt they are gonna release mario kart at launch either. We know there's no smash at launch as well. So what the fukk are we getting besides the system and zelda?
Skyrim :troll:

Also March is a strange release date for the console. Why not release it close to the holiday season when better games are ready?

Yeah that was a bit underwhelming. I'm still getting the console though. Maybe later when better games come along.

No pokemon?
They didn't even talk about Mario Kart 8
Or Smash Bros.
No Metroid?
Earthbound?

Xenoblade took Earthbound's lane as the Nintendo RPG (outside of Pokemon)

The fact that Mario Kart was in the presentation earlier and the fact that the Switch has motion controls makes me think that it's gonna be backwards compatible

Also March is a strange release date for the console. Why not release it close to the holiday season when better games are ready?

Because the competitors consoles will be marked down and have better games for them. You release the Switch now and get the sales from that throughout the year, and either mark it down to market price as your AAA games start releasing (Mario), bundle it or whatever the case may be.

If Zelda also dropping on the WiiU, there is absolutely no reason to cop the Switch at launch.

Game line up is laughably weak aside from Mario: Liberty City.

Switch needs Rocket League.
