Just playing Devil's Advocate here (you see what I did there) but how do we know he just showed sales from his most impressive "period".tunecore lets you keep 100% of your sales revenue
so if your cd sells for 9.99 on itunes.... and itunes pays out 7.99.. then you only need to sell 100k to make 799k
i'm a member of tunecore and have been for years... their periods are 3 months long and you get a breakdown by period
mind you, you are on unlimited stores and streaming sites for that 29.99 per album fee... so i have albums on apple, apple music, android, spotify, tidal, and literally 50 other sites, worldwide.. plus amazon sells hard copies if you want those
for him to do 900k a quarter, that's really nothing with all the sites it's on for sale at... plus you get paid off all the streaming apps too
meanwhile universal probably giving their artists 25 cents a sale
As @The Devil's Advocate pointed out. A period on tunecore is 3 months (it's total revenue)what is the period?
is it one song?
multiple songs?
one artist?
multiple artists?
That's all his music.what is the period?

^First business/store
Plus he got Proud2Pay, they did something with YG album couple weeks ago, so looks like he ain't using it for himself anymore.
And it looks like he got plans to revitalize Crenshaw

He may have. But that would require him taking a pic at that time for it to say "this quarter" then saving it to use laterJust playing Devil's Advocate here (you see what I did there) but how do we know he just showed sales from his most impressive "period".
Ok see I didn't know "this period" was only used when you're in a period from the present day. So if he were in a past period would it just say the date? For example this period would be October - December I'm assuming but if he were to show the prior period of July-September what would it say?He may have. But that would require him taking a pic at that time for it to say "this quarter" then saving it to use later
Which of course he could have. But making 1 milky off music with no label in 3 months is impressive regardless. Even if he don't it every month. He's probably making good money overall
that made me wanna put my music up on tunecore or distrokid
but i dont have a fanbase![]()
