Let’s not make Ak out to be some patron saint my nikka. I admire and respect his come up. But some of the shyt Nip is saying has validity.
How many times have people talked openly about the fact 21 sounded like a psychopath because of how calmly he talked/rapped about all that killa shyt? Now he’s talking about doing things that could lead to a better life for not just him, but his family too. When you see someone growing like that, it’s not on me to worry about what it means for me as a fan. That’s the least important aspect of what’s happening here.
If Ak cares about the culture and the people in it, he shouldn’t associate a negative connotation (bad music) with something positive (21 maturing). Same way he shouldn’t be engagement fishing on Instagram asking about whether nikkas should be locked up or not.
The bigger issue is: Ak doesn’t know how to admit he’s wrong. That nikka can justify anything in his own mind, even when it’s obvious to everyone else he’s wrong. He just falls back on the chat nigggas and the yes men to boost his ego and ignores it.
He’s popping, and props to him. But he would be so much more enjoyable if he didn’t act like he has all the answers just because he’s hot right now.
